Tracy has rarely exhibited but remains in demand as a commission artist. After a career spanning 35 years she has artworks in private collections and establishments all over the world. Tracy is a well respected art teacher in South-East Queensland and highly regarded for her wealth of knowledge and teaching abilities. Tracy's works often depict moments of Australian rural life, animal studies and highly detailed portraits. 'Startled' was born of a number of private photos and moments of observation of hares near her home. Their elegance, tension and athleticism are visible in every hair and muscle of their body.
