Aileen Brown is a recognised Melbourne print maker on the Australian national scene with many solo exhibitions since 1986 and some book illustrations. A linocut specialist, Brown's prints demonstrate mastery of colour, composition and design. Her works are found in many print collections such as Bendigo Regional Gallery, State Libraries of Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, Museum of Melbourne, Deakin and Melbourne University, and National Library of Australia.
