Goodacre is a graduate of the National Art School, Canberra School of Art and East Sydney Technical College. The artist comments 'I spent my childhood on a wheat farm near Woodstock, and was often drawing and observing the landscape from an early age. Harvest time was always an exciting time around the question of when to harvest.'
