Oil on canvas, signed on back, 30cm x 20cm. Les Rees, born Melbourne 1914, trained as a commercial artist at Prahan Technical College, where he became friends with Sir Sidney Nolan. The record auction price for his work was a pair sold for $1,250 in 1993.
